The year 2009 is pretty much synonymous with celebrity deaths. Okay, that's not true in the least. But you have to admit, there have been a surprising number.

The way Lindsay Lohan is acting lately, one has to wonder if she's trying to become the latest casualty. If Michael Lohan is clued in, it's gotta be getting bad.

You know you have a drinking problem when the only events interrupting your raging partying schedule are court dates for your past DUI infractions. Yeesh.

We've seen this before with Britney Spears, who made a miraculous comeback after spiraling out of control in 2007. Now Lindsay has taken Britney's #2 spot.

The spot behind Amy Winehouse in The Hollywood Gossip's death pool, that is. A-Dubs remains the odds-on favorite, but LiLo's coming on fast and furious!

Adam Lambert Embraces Naked Women

Controversy sells.

While Adam Lambert shouldn't need help hyping his debut album, which comes out on November 24, creating a stir within the entertainment world can only help.

With that in mind (we assume), the singer has posed for a racy photo shoot for Details magazine... with a woman!

Inside the issue, which fans ought to pick up for an in-depth article and spread, Lambert brings up the fact that the opposite sex often throws their underwear - among other things - at him.

"I think it's weird that I'm having this effect on women. It's flattering," he says. "I've never had underwear thrown at me before. Clearly there's something significant about it, because there aren't a lot of openly gay men in the entertainment industry,"

Regarding the breasted gender, Lambert also said:

"I like kissing women sometimes. Women are pretty. It doesn't mean I'm necessarily sleeping with them."

To prove his point, Lambert poses with a scantily-clad female in Details.

Miss California Pageant Wants Its Fake Boob Money Back

The feud between Carrie Prejean and the Miss California Pageant just got a lot... bouncier.

Following the lawsuit filed by Prejean against organization officials for slander, libel, religious discrimination and infliction of emotional distress (it's hard to write that with a straight face), K2 Productions is firing back.

The company in charge of the Miss California USA pageant has counter-sued the disgraced beauty queen and is requesting that she return the $5,200 it gave her for breast-augmentation surgery last year. Seriously!

"Had [Prejean] heeded the guidance of the Gospel of John, who admonished only those who are without sin to cast stones in judgment, she might have avoided this legal battle," the suit actually reads.

As part of her original lawsuit, Prejean takes issue with the pageant's "public disclosure of private facts," but this counter-suit says the only private facts in question were bouncing around on stage during the competition.

"The alleged 'private facts' consist of her breast augmentation (which ceased being private during the swimsuit competition of the nationally-televised Miss USA pageant, in which Ms. Prejean walked the stage in a bikini)," the K2 suit states.

American Idol Finalists Pose, Prep Debut Albums

Music fans are in for a three-week treat, beginning on November 17.

On that date, Kris Allen releases his debut CD. A week later, Adam Lambert does the same; and fellow American Idol finalist Allison Iraheta completes the trifecta on December 1 with her debut album.

The trio of talented young singers recently gathered for a photo shoot and interview. This time, no naked women were involved with Lambert.

Jennifer Love Hewitt is Hot, But Hurt

This must be difficult for Jennifer Love Hewitt.

On one hand, rumors that she and boyfriend Jamie Kennedy are close to a break-up have thrust her into the spotlight; on the other hand, she apparently doesn't like people claiming he cheats on her.

"It's really hurtful that people say that," she told People. "Because he is like the most awesome person... He treats me very well."

Late last month, word spread that Kennedy was cheating on JLH with his (and possibly Britney Spears') ex-girlfriend, Shannon Funk. That would be hilarious if true.

Added the Ghost Whisperer star: "We are just trying to be really happy. It makes it hard to do that when everybody is putting negative energy out there."

It must also be really hard to do that when your boyfriend is a huge dork. The geek himself said:

"I am lucky to be with her. And I love her very much."

The first part is definitely true.

Dina Lohan to Michael Lohan: STFU About Lindsay

Hello? Pot? Oh, hey! This is Kettle. Just wanted to let you know you're black.

This is basically what Dina Lohan, very likely the worst mother in human history, is saying in her recent message for her ex Michael about his recent interviews.

Michael has said that their troubled daughter Lindsay is abusing prescription pills and is a shell of a person. Dina says Mike should zip it and focus on himself.

Using a celebrity gossip mag as her personal voicemail, Dina lashed back at People Michael: "Michael Lohan needs to focus on paying child support, of which he is six months behind, and making up for all the years he was an absentee dad."

Moreover, the miserable excuse for a human being and parent says her counterpart "needs to stop going national television talking about his children publicly."

Right, because that's not what Dina's entire life is based on.

On Saturday, Michael told celebrity photo agency X17 that he is angling for a Britney Spears-style arrangement in which he can administer Lindsay's affairs.

"I'm going to see the judge this week... If I can't get a conservatorship, then I'm going to take her to an undisclosed location and get her straight. But I know I'm gonna get charged [with] kidnapping," the absolute moron said.

During a taping of The Maury Povich Show last week, Michael looked into the camera and relayed this message to Lindsay: "I’m gonna do anything, everything I have to save your life, whether mom likes it, the public likes it, or anyone."

In response to Dina's comment, Michael tells People: "She says I'm not focusing on being a good parent, but is [Dina] focusing on being a good parent?"

You tell her, Mike.

Insisting he is only going public for the sake of Lindsay, he says, "Look, I know sometimes I've said things I shouldnt have, but I have to help my child."

Good luck with that. Lindsay, who got plastered twice over the weekend, plans to turn to the courts and seek a restraining order against her father.

"Lindsay is actively getting a restraining order, her lawyer have already been contacted," says a Lindsay source. "She's scared. This is really serious."

Shauna Sand Sex Tape Update: Release Delayed, Handwriting Expert Consulted

The freak nasty sex tape starring former Playboy model Shauna Sand is being delayed a week pending an analysis of whether she actually authorized its release.

Despite the fact that the Shauna Sand sex tape was obviously made on purpose and hilariously staged, she fired off a cease and desist letter to Vivid last week.

Vivid, which announced the tape is set for release last week, says they've got a release from Sand green-lighting it but will wait to establish that it is authentic.

A handwriting expert has been called in to do find out if Shauna inked the dotted line. How much analysis this is really going to take, who knows. We'll find out.

Whitney Houston: Drunk on X Factor?

Whitney Houston's increasingly bizarre behavior continued Sunday as the star's comeback tour brought her to Simon Cowell's UK reality show X Factor.

Thankfully for all involved, the incident wasn't X-rated. But it was close. Whitney Houston did experience a wardrobe malfunction as her dress nearly fell off.

Really. "I sang myself out of my clothes," Houston joked afterward.

X Factor viewers almost - so close! - got to see Whitney Houston nude.

Hey, dresses fall off. Just ask Lindsay Lohan. These things happen sometimes.

But like her Good Morning America debacle, it was Whitney Houston's lackluster performance all around that was even more puzzling to X Factor fans.

Is this woman drunk, or just cashing paychecks and phoning these shows in? If so, her new song's title, "Million Dollar Bill," is appropriate, if ironic.

George Clooney Lets Loose on Love Life

George Clooney is the world's most eligible bachelor.

Of course, Elisabetta Canalis is doing all she can to change that, as the Italian, large-breasted model has been dating the actor since July.

He seems happy with her, which is a change from some of Clooney's past romances. He admitted as much to Great Britain's The Daily Mirror last week:

"I’ve had some absolutely great relationships and some not so great relationships. I’ve been in some relationships where I’ve felt terribly alone. Just because you’re with someone it doesn’t mean you’re incredibly happy and complete."

Clooney meant no offense, of course, to exes Renee Zellweger, Kelly Preston, DeDee Pfeiffer, Kimberly Russell, Brooke Langton, Taylor Howard, Krista Allen, Jennifer Siebel, Lisa Snowdon and Sarah Larson.

Unlike certain other celebrities (cough... cough... Jennifer Aniston...), Clooney doesn't think his love life is anything unique.

“I’ve had some easy and natural, made-sense breakups as well as some rough ones... I don’t think my experiences are any different than anybody else’s, they’ve just been amplified a little more.”

What a refreshing outlook on life as a celebrity. Clooney doesn't pretend to be any more insightful or important than anyone out there when it comes to dating.

He may be the most perfect human being on the planet.

Even Audrina Patridge Can't Take The Hills Seriously

The fake relationship of Kristin Cavallari and Justin-Bobby has been a theme on the current season of The Hills, with the b!tch blatantly moving in on Audrina's ex.

Audrina Patridge says she stopped caring awhile ago, however.

"At the end of the day, it's a show," Patridge said at MTV's Los Premios in Los Angeles Thursday. "It's entertainment. You can't take anything serious on that show."

Kristin Cavallari and Audrina Patridge clashed on the season premiere because the former pursued the latter's ex-boyfriend, despite his lack of personal hygiene.

Asked if she and Cavallari have ended their feud, Patridge said, "I don't know. I don't know how it's going to play out. We have three weeks of filming, that's it."

Sounds like she's checked out already. Not that we blame her.

Patridge is getting ready to leave The Hills after this season to star in her own reality TV show, to be executive produced by Survivor creator Mark Burnett.

The 24-year-old, who just split with Corey Bohan, who she dated after she and J-B broke up, is happy to leave the contrived nonsense bitchiness behind.

"I'm an adult now, and I don't need to put up with all the petty drama and drinking and fighting ... I've been there, done that, and I'm ready to move on."

Sadly for MTV, many fans may start to feel the same.

Jessica Biel: Joining the Twilight Saga Cast?!?

Jessica Biel co-stars in Valentine's Day with a number of A-listers, including Taylor Lautner.

In a recent interview with MTV, the beautiful actress made it sound like this won't be the last time she's paired with Lautner on the big screen.

Asked if she's consider joining the cast of the Twilight Saga, Biel didn't rule it out. She said:

"Well, I'm clearly familiar with the films... I know the idea of what it's about. I mean, maybe [I'd be in the next 'Twilight' film]. That would be lovely. I am not opposed to playing a vampire."

Of course, Biel hasn't been asked to play one, either. But is this a cast addition you'd want to see? Who would she play in the franchise?

Lame Buffy references aside, Eliza Dushku (formerly Buffy's Faith) confirms that she is indeed dating Vanessa Williams' ex, former L.A. Lakers star Rick Fox.

"We're trying to balance really getting to know each other with all our demands workwise," the star of Fox's new hit series Dollhouse recently told TV Guide.

A source on the Dollhouse set says: "[Rick] has been very nice. There's definitely an age difference and they aren't the first two people I would put together. But he has been to the set and he seems to get along great with everyone."

At least Rick's in much better shape than her previous pro athlete boyfriend, Brad Penny. That guy lost the life on his fastball somewhere at the buffet line.

Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt might have more children. They might not.

But one thing is for certain: Life & Style has to look up the definiton of "confirms."

On the cover of the supermarket tabloid's latest issue, it sounds as though Jolie is either knocked up again or has already filled out new adoption paperwork. Neither is the case. Instead, she simply said recently:

"I can see further additions to the family - both adopted and our own."

This is the first true story it's ever reported.

A source close to the couple anonymously added:

"They want one more biological baby and an adopted baby - for now. But who knows what the future holds. Some people get addicted to drugs and alcohol, but Brad and Angie are addicted to children."

Just like this magazine is addicted to falsifying its cover stories.

The New Moon publicity machine is in overdrive.

With a little more than a month to go until the second Twilight Saga film is released on November 20, expect Robert Pattinson, Kristen Stewart and company to pop up on magazine covers, TV shows and radio interviews galore.

Tomorrow, for example, People releases a special issue dedicated to New Moon. It features a slew of new photos from the movie, as well as comments from various cast and crew members.

Katherine Jackson -- This Isn't It

Something is going on with the Jackson family ... multiple sources are telling us the family has been invited with open arms to attend the premiere of "This Is It" ... but Katherine Jackson and other family members insist they have been snubbed.

Here's what we know -- 60 tickets for the Michael Jackson movie have been offered to the family, yet Katherine insists no one ever called them about getting seats. Several sources tell us they believe the ticket offer was made to certain members of the family but the offer was never relayed to Katherine.

Fact is ... Katherine doesn't want to see the movie. She tells TMZ as far as she's concerned it's not a real movie because there is no acting -- just rehearsal footage.

But we're also told Jackson's three kids have been telling Katherine they want to see it ... bad.

Joe Jackson insists "This Is It" is mostly body doubles and "the media is going to tear this movie apart."

Sources say Sony not only offered the Jackson family seats to the premiere, but also offered a private screening.

Is it possible one of Katherine's sons is hoarding info? Just a theory ...

Lil Wayne Expecting Fourth Child

Another lil one -- a boy -- is on the way for Lil Wayne!

Eonline reports that the "Lollipop" rapper confirmed that will be a dad for the fourth time. This time, the mother is singer Nivea, 27 (ex-wife to The Dream, Christina Milian's new husband).

Kristen Stewart says she doesn't exercise or watch her diet.

"You should see my brother; he's, like, emaciated," the Twilight star, 19, tells the November issue of Allure. "We both just happen to be really skinny."
But the actress doesn't think she looks good. She laments the way she appears on talk shows while promoting her vampire flicks. (New Moon hits theaters Nov. 20.)

"It's all about those 10 minutes. You have to be funny and cute, and you have to promote the movie, and I don't know what else," she says. "You have to look hot or something. I don't know; I don't know."

Still, she's not doing much to improve her style.

"I go outside, and I'm wearing a funky T-shirt and my hair is dirty, and people say, 'What's wrong with her? She needs to invest in a hairbrush,'" she says.

Stewart goes on, "I'm like, don't you get it? I'm not that girl! Like, I never was that girl. It's not like I was really clean-cut last year."

But that doesn't stop her from Googling herself to see what people think.

"The commenters are usually worse than the bloggers," she says. "I know what people say about me."

Stewart -- who got lost en route to her Allure interview at a Beverly Hills hotel -- says she'll check the internet later to "see what an idiot I looked like getting lost ... you just Google, 'Kristen Stewart, lost, directions.' Or put the date in. I can't believe I'm giving away how to Google me!"

In the same interview, Stewart refuses to discuss her relationships with Michael Angarano or costar Robert Pattinson, but touches on the "sexual dynamics" between her character, Bella, and Pattinson's Edward.

The two can't have sex on screen because it would turn Bella into a vampire.

"It's [more than] foreplay. Even though it does that so well -- it does a f---ing good job -- the buildup, is like, ridiculous. But it's all for the right reasons. You're so in her shoes that it's a vicarious experience. It's addictive," she says.

Michael Lohan: I Can't Even Look at Lindsay Anymore

On Friday's Maury Povich Show, Michael Lohan reaches out to his daughter Lindsay, of whom he claims her health is deteriorating rapidly due to prescription drug abuse.

"There's nothing left of her," he said. "I was out in L.A. with her about three weeks ago when she got robbed. She called me up at 3:30 a.m. and said, 'Daddy, come out here.' I flew out and couldn't even look at her. I had to go outside and cry. When I hugged her, it's just a hollow, hollow person.

Lindsay, 23, is due in a Beverly Hills court Friday to give progress on her 2007 drunk driving case. (The actress, who was arrested for driving under the influence, agreed to a plea bargain that called for probation, time in a treatment program and community service after she crashed her car on Sunset Boulevard in Beverly Hills.)

TMZ reports her lawyer will try to convince the judge that Lindsay will improve her attendance record at her treatment program.
